SENSORIAL IDENTITY FOR A SENSORIAL COFFEE.
BRAND IDENTITY, PACKAGING, WEB DESIGN.
The client (an interesting man, full of stories and a revolutionary spirit) wanted to explore new, alien ways of visually representing the coffee industry. Instinto is a high-altitude specialty coffee produced in Intag, Ecuador. Their motto is TABULA RASA, and their efforts to revolutionize the coffee industry have had impressive effects.
WE NEEDED TO CREATE A DISRUPTIVE BRAND THAT WOULD REPRESENT INSTINTO'S INTENSE VALUES, YET PRESERVE THE HIGH-END SPECIALTY COFFE LOOK.

We found that having a connection between the natural environment where the coffee is grown (foggy mountains and cloudy days), the alien-like custom typography and the bright red with gradient made the brand look disruptive and bold, but still focused and delicate.
To transmit the concept of sensorial, we chose an embossed packaging, using different colors for each product size. When opening each box, the red gradient appears as if the coffee inside was vibrant with pure energy.
I handled the web design (still in process of implementation), creating a narrative through the key values of Instinto, and taking the user through an exciting journey to discover this new and disruptive coffee brand, treating it almost as a manifesto.
